2 inch Sirloin and Pineapple on the Grill Grate
Brad sent us a set of his Grill Grates a few weeks ago. And since then we have tried to give them a good work out. Let me first say that they are everything that Brad says they are. Me, always the skeptic, had to see for myself.
So, before anything I say can mean anything to you, you need to know my grilling style. I am a “Pellet Head”, that means that I am a hard core wood pellet griller. I know that my Royall 3000 wood pellet grill/smoker is one of the very best on the market and there is not much you can do to improve it.
There are some folks that say you can’t do a steak right on a pellet grill. As the Chef for Royall Wood Pellet Grill/Smokers I can honestly say: Boys, it is time to come to class. Because you can literally do anything on the Royall that you can do in your oven and you can grill and smoke on it, too. I have done everything from cookies to big beef roasts.
My point is that pellet cooking is different than gas or charcoal. A good pellet grill will replace both your smoker and grill with just one easy to use unit.
Now, add a Grill Grate to your Royall Grill and you kick it up a notch. That is not easy to do because of the nature of the Royall Grill. The Grill Grate just adds magic, not just magic, but “Black Magic”.

I like the flavor of a good grill char and the way the Grill Grates conduct heat makes it easy to get your char on with out overcooking your steaks. I have learned that because of how they do conduct the heat you may need to adjust your cooking time down on your smaller cuts of meat. They do a nice job on chicken and big roasts are awesome.
