The PelletCan
The PelletCan on my Patio

The PelletCan
We recently added a PelletCan to our line up of Memphis Wood Fire Grills/Smokers on our patio. So handy. Those of you that have followed our web site and cooking adventures know that we are always working on something new with the Memphis Wood Fire Grill/Smoker. First, I want to say that the “PelletCan” has changed how I grill. You ask how? Easy! It makes your pellet management easy. For those of you that just do one or two things it does not matter. But, I am constantly changing my pellets to complement whatever I have on the grill. Whereas before I filled the hopper and tried to use those up before changing to a different flavor pellet.
Simply put the PelletCan is a pellet management system that retails for $335.79. With a table top model that retails for $251.55. Both are a water resentdent hopper dived into 5 bins, each with its own lever door that allows you to get any amount of pellets for your grilling needs that day. So, by changing my grilling style, I now load the type and amount of pellets for each recipe I do completely hassle free. It just does not get any better than that.
My first thoughts as I was unpacking my PelletCan was that someone had put a lot of thought into the engineering and packaging of it. It is good quality heavy steel. Everything is wrapped separately to prevent any scratching and it includes all the tools you need to put it together. The person that packs it signs it and takes pride that every part is in there. The instructions are easy to follow and there is a page with an “Actual “size picture of the nuts and bolts you can compare, if needed. Just a nice quality package. I don’t think I have ever seen anything done as well. They take pride in the craftsmanship of their Made in the USA product.
I have it setting next to my Memphis line up with a cutting board on it and wonder how I ever got by without it.

The PelletCan has 5 Bins
The PelletCan comes with stickers that you can put on the handles of the levers. I change mine out so often that for me masking tape is the better way to go. A few days ago this was full.

The D-1 model PelletCan
Storage / Dispenser combines these great features: Storage, Dispensing, and Portability. The durable powder coat finish is combined with a kitchen grade stainless steel lid providing valuable additional food preparation space for your outdoor kitchen.
Go to the PelletCan web site and see the different models. They also have a counter top version that you may enjoy. www.pelletcan.com
